@tweezak Once you go gas, you’ll never go back. I finally bought a place with gas after years and years of living in total electric homes. Even my parent’s home was total electric.
Gas is wonderful and even works when the electricity goes out.
Crock pot is my favorite appliance. Fill it full of meat and veggies, turn it on , and 8 hours later a masterpiece emerges from the pot. I found out if you forgot to thaw your meat, you can still cook with it, after 8 hours you’d never know you forgot to thaw it out. Now tell me how many appliances can do that? Only a crock pot can.
@olperfesser My wife worked with the cabinet maker to design our kitchen. Vertically stacked electric double wall ovens, plus 5-burner gas cook top in the island.
I got a mini George Foreman, Lean, Mean Grilling machine. It converted me to grilling from using the Microwave for everything. I don’t know where I got it, most likely from a local yard sale.
I answer pressure cooker - I love my instant pot. But I probably wouldn’t know what to do without my stove/oven. I’d say my least favorite is a microwave and I probably only keep it because it’s an over-the-range and doesn’t take up precious counter space.
My egg cooker. Yes, it’s a unitasker, but it makes perfect hard-cooked and soft-boiled eggs. After years of overdone and underdone eggs, and the time when I forgot the pot of eggs and all the water boiled away, it’s worth the $15. It can also poach eggs and make omelets. Plus, it looks like a little spaceship!
Fridge is first, but surprised I haven’t seen anyone say dishwasher yet. You all like doing the dishes by hand?
edit - okay, just saw one mention I missed above. But still, surprised at how much love there is for prep tools over cleanup helpers
Brevelle toaster oven/air fryer. I swear that thing has better temperature control and more even cooking compared to my real oven. Suck it Samsung, you have been replaced by a countertop appliance.
@woot
Bought one for the ‘summer’ kitchen so we could have scones even in hot days. It has become my husband’s favorite kitchen tool. Have to insists that he use the ‘big’ oven when it’s cold outside to keep the house warm!
Anything made by Ninja. Their coffee maker is heads and tails above the Kuerig ones we previously had forever both in versatility and in how long it lasts. And their contraption that air fries does lots of other things except taking the food out of the frig for you. Their innovation is off the charts.
it is and forever will be the toaster oven >>>> air fryer for me. Don’t know why, but the air fryer changes the texture of things to a degree I do not enjoy.
Bread machine.
The fridge is king.
@kjady And also the Ice Queen
@kjady Good point!
Carbon steel pan
Stove/oven because it’s the workhorse that has thicc thighs that save lives!
Slow cooker.
Probably fridge/freezer, then stove and coffee grinder.
If I had gas I’d say stove. I only have electric though.
@tweezak
Yes… Gas FTW!
@tweezak
Gas stove was on my wishlist when I bought my house. I like toasting marshmallows.

My Kitchenaid mixer
Coffee Maker (what’s a day without coffee)
Rice cooker
Yep, Coffee Grinder and Coffee Pot!
Can opener. I HATE using a manual can opener.
But fridge and coffee pot rank.
Knives and gas stove.
Fridge/freezer, pressure cooker, dish washer, and blender are almost my only appliances left in the kitchen. Oh, almost forgot the toaster and kettle.
@pakopako
No stove/oven??
Super automatic espresso machine.

Gas stove. Built the house to have it.

/showme real cats grilling steaks on a Grill for a large gathering of friends
@mycya4me That background cat is definitely a LARGE friend.
@yakkoTDI Yep he sure is! At least the Humans don’t mind a bit of fur with their food. Next the cats will be making Pizza!

I have a dishwasher and I still washed by hand.
My electric kettle
Toaster oven
Other gadgets include my mezzaluna and kitchen shears.
@kittykat9180
I don’t know what a mezzaluna is, but I bet it must be spiffy.
